Emmy is a 12 - 18 month old Shih Tzu who weighs 13 lbs.  She came into rescue from a breeder, and was thin and afraid.  She has blossomed in her foster home, and loves to play like a puppy.  She eats very well, plays with toys and is puppy pad trained.  She is slowly working on leash training, as she is still unsure of the outdoors.  Emmy the sweet Shih Tzu is fostering in Alabama, and we can assist with a transport to her special home.  She requires placement with an experienced adopter.

Belle is a quite small Shih Tzu lady who is 4 - 5 yrs. old and weighs only 10 lbs.  This pretty girl prances like a princess, so her foster parents call her Lady Belle.  She is a little shy, and will most likely be when she goes to her new family.  She has done well with house training and will use puppy pads.  Belle loves treats and knows what the word means.  She has an adorable way of playing, and would like a home with other small pups and perhaps older children.  This quiet girl is fostering in the Mid-Atlantic and needs daily eye drops.

Bunker is an 8 yr. old Shih Tzu who weighs 16 lbs.  He came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him.  This Tzu boy would like a quiet household, perhaps in an adult home with stay at home folks who can give him lots of love and attention.  He only has one eye, although this does not stop him from playing with toys and romping.  He is a great leash walker and is house trained when taken out on a regular schedule.  Bunker is a sweet naturned guy who loves to curl up with his people.  He is being fostering in North Carolina, and can travel to his home.

Sweetie Pie is an adorable 4 yr. old Shih Tzu girl who weighs 12 lbs.  She came into rescue from a breeder, and loves human companionship.  Sweetie Pie is very sweet and gentle, and loves lots of attention.  She gives lots of sweet puppy kisses, and is a very happy girl.  She will need to continue working on house training and has already learned how to leash walk, and is starting to use puppy pads. Katie is a pretty little 4 yr. old Shih Tzu girl who weighs 11 lbs. She came into rescue from a breeder, and loves human companionship. Katie is very sweet and gentle, and loves having her ears and chin rubbed. She wags her tail, and softly walks all around. She will need to continue working on house training and leash walking, and is starting to use puppy pads. Katie has discovered the love of playing with her furry siblings for hours.She has mild vision loss which does not affect her, and is a very good girl when receiving daily eye drops. Katie the Shih Tzu is fostering in Florida, and will do best with a stay at home person in a quiet home with another small furry friend.

Chance is a sweet 10 lb. male Shih Tzu who is approximately 4 years old, but acts like a puppy.  He loves to play with toys and all the other dogs in his foster home.  He is still working on trust issues with humans, and is learning that people are good.  This Shih Tzu likes to sleep with somebody, and is usually cuddled up with one of the other dogs.  He would do best in a home with other dogs to play with and sleep with.  He really enjoys cuddling with humans as well.   Chance is doing pretty well with his house training, and will use a potty pad.  Chance is as cute as a button, and his coat is coming in nicely.  This adorable Shih Tzu is fostering in Florida, and can travel to a loving home.

Chewy is a 6 yr. old Chihuahua who weighs 8 lbs.  He enjoys romping around with other dogs in the yard or going for leash walks and car rides.  He likes to sun himself or snuggle under the covers with his humans.  It is unknown how he reacts to cats.  Chewy is nicely housetrained and fostering in Northern Florida.

My name is Saxson, and I'm a Silky Terrier boy who weighs about 10 lbs. I'm in a loving foster home with 3 other dogs and I'm looking for a forever home.  I am 8 yrs. young, house trained, mellow and HANDSOME!  I love to give kisses and sit on laps, and riding in the car is my favorite. Nina is a darling baby Chihuahua girly girl. She was born on Christmas day 2010. She is growing sweeter every minute.. Nina needs a stay at home Mom to perfect her potty training and encourage her social growth. Because of her delicate size she would do best in a home without small children. She gets along well with her sibling foster brothers and sisters. She is a delicate 2.5 lbs and very lovable. Nina is fostering in Western NY.

Yum Yum is a 1 year old Maltese Yorkshire Terrier who weights 11 Lbs. This funny and loving guy is very playful at times and alert. He knows when it’s time to relax and will cuddle on the couch or in bed. He is nicely housetrained when taken out regularly and loves to play outdoors. YumYum would love a fenced in yard and an active home to provide exercise and walks. Yummy is very smart and he’ll learn the home routine and rules quickly. He is very good with adults, older children, and other dogs who understand his playful personality. This smart and happy Morkie boy is fostering in Southern Connecticut.

Hunter is a very happy 5 yr. old Shih Tzu boy who loves to run about in the house or fenced yard.  This adorable pup weighs 14 lbs. and enjoys playing with soft toys and sleeping on the big bed all night long.  Hunter enjoys the company of other small dogs, and is doing well with house training and will need to perfect his skills.  He has a good temperament and is getting used to being held and cuddled.  His foster mom describes him as very sweet, smart, and funny.  He seems to be so happy that when you look at him or talk to him, he seems to smile and wags his tail!  This sweet boy came to us from a commercial breeder, with a broken jaw, and must continue on a wet food diet.  His jaw is healing nicely, and does not affect his health.   Hunter the sweet Shih Tzu is fostering in North Carolina.

Timmy is a wonderful little 5 - 6 yr. old Shih Tzu boy who is perfectly happy laying on the floor with his favorite toy.  This 14 lb. cutie is low key and a little shy, and usually ignores his furry housemates. Timmy is missing his left eye and will sometimes give a warning if other animals approach quickly from his blind side.  He walks well on the leash and likes to ride in the car.  Timmy is almost housetrained but he may need some additional direction when he moves into his furever home.  He gets along with cats, and could be adopted into a family with other animals or as an only furchild.  Timmy the handsome Shih Tzu is fostering in PA.

Andy is a 1 yr. old Shih Tzu/Maltese who is a very active little boy. He weighs 12 lbs. and loves to play, and go for walks or car rides. Andy loves toys and treats, and will play fetch. He's an affectionate little guy who likes to sleep in bed with you. Andy is working on housetraining, and gets along well with dogs and gentle children, although he does not care for cats.
