Jasper is one of the cutest Maltese boys his foster mom has ever seen.  Just look at his precious face!  He is 4 yrs old and weighs only 5 lbs.  Jasper came into rescue when his mommy became ill and could no loner care for him. Jasper does well with other small dogs, cats and gentle children.  He loves to sit with you and snuggle. This little Maltese is almost potty trained if kept on schedule, and fostering in New York.

Cricket is a sweet little 2 - 4 yr. old, 5 lb. Yorkshire Terrier girl who has lots of energy.  When she's all done playing, she loves to sit on a lap and give a bunch of kisses!  She gets along just fine with her small furry playmates, and is doing well with housetraining.  Due to her delicate size, an adult home or one with much older children would be best. Cricket the beautiful Yorkie girl is fostering in New York.

Reagan is a 5 year old male Shih Tzu, weighing 14 pounds.  He is a quiet gentleman and has excellent manners. This Shih Tzu boy is affectionate and likes to be near his family.  He walks very well on leash and enjoys his car rides. Reagan is housetrained, and is wonderful with other dogs, good with children, and sleeps in the big bed with his foster sisters.  Reagan is fostering in upstate New York, and is waiting patiently for his forever home.

My name is Penny, and I'm a 10 year old Long-Haired Chihuahua who weighs just 7 1/2 lbs.  I get along well with other dogs, but I may prefer to be an only pet so I can have all the attention.  I am very well behaved, smart, and house trained.  I love to go for walks and  walk well on my new pretty pink harness. We walk at least twice a day as long as it is not too hot. I am very playful even for my age.  I like to play with lots of toys, and will roll over for belly rubs.  I also like to sleep on the bed with my family.  My foster mom is impressed by how extremely smart I am. I love being around people, and follow my foster Mom everywhere and she even lets me ride in the car.  Boy is that fun! I really do mind well and only want a family who will love and care for me.  Penny the long-haired Chihuahua is fostering in Florida.

Meet Miss Becky, a beautiful 8 year old Peke is looking for someone to love. This beautiful , 19 lb princess is healthy and happy with beautiful, shiney, black, absolutely luxurious hair and big brown eyes. She is very sweet and loving and is good with other dogs and kids and cats. Miss Becky loves tummy rubs, walks on the beach, sunsets, and snuggling (Oh wait - that's me).  She walks great on a leash and loves to sleep in bed with her people. Miss Becky uses the doggy door freely but has to be cajoled to go outside and step on the grass (eeewww). Beautiful Becky would make a wonderful addition to a family who would give her all the love and attention she so very much seeks out. She hates getting her picture taken because the flash scares her but she is very pretty in a toothy sort of way and just had her prominent pearly whites buffed and polished. Miss Becky the Pekingese is fostering in NE Florida.

Sugar is a very sweet Shih Tzu girl who is 5 years old, and loves to play with her toys.  She will gather them up and take them to her bed.  Sugar loves to play dress-up too!  She is mostly housetrained, and enjoys meal time very much. She has one cataract maybe two, but the vet said that she can see but it does effect her vision from side to side.  You have to throw the toys right where she can see them. She is great with older children and doesn't mind small gentle ones either.  She doesn't jump up or down, but has jumped from a very low sofa.  Sugar loves to go by-by in the car.  She does NOT like a leash, and so needs a fenced yard.  She sleeps very well at night and will sleep anywhere.  She will "talk" when the doorbell rings.  This pretty Shih Tzu girl is fostering in the Southeast.

Fluffy is a delightful little lady!  She's a 10 year old Shih Tzu who weighs about 18 lbs.  Her foster parents describe her as a calm and quiet cuddle bug who enjoys going on walks and rides in the car.  Fluffy the friendly Shih Tzu girl is housetrained, and fostering in New York.

Abby & Cody are a bonded pair of Shih Tzus who are about 18 months old.  Abby weighs 14 lbs, while Cody weighs 15 lbs.  They came into rescue when their family could no longer care for them. Both pups are very friendly and happy, and LOVE staying close to their people.  They're nice leash walkers and well behaved during car rides.  This adorable sister and brother pair like playing with each other,  snuggling on the sofa and sleeping in the big bed.  They're doing well with housetraining when taken out regularly.  These Shih Tzus will be adopted together, and are fostering in the Mid Atlantic.

Julie(Juliette)is a gorgeous 10 month old brown and white female Pom-Tzu weighing in at 12  lbs. She is a pretty little prancer and her coat is a beautiful and soft. She is a little jumpy at times when she is unsure. She is definitely a lap sitter,loves to snuggle in bed, and  likes to chase her siblings around the yard. I think she would enjoy a sibling who is not alpha in the home. She is a little bossy at times but generally gets along fine with all her foster siblings. We are working on her food protection which is not a big issue.  She is potty training well and still uses puppy pads if necessary. She will make someone a very lovable and loyal companion.  Julie would do best in a home with adults or much older children, and a fenced yard. She would like a furry sibling and with a mostly stay at home human.  Julie the Shih Tzu/Pomeranian Mix puppy is fostering in New York.

Buddy is a 7 year old, 13 pound Maltese who does indeed want to be your best buddy! He is a sweet, quiet boy who is nicely housetrained and very easy going. Buddy gets along with everyone - humans and dogs alike. He walks wonderfully on a leash and rides beautifully in the car. Mostly, Buddy just wants to be loved and cuddled. He loves sleeping on the "big bed" and will follow you around like he's your shadow. This sweet, gentle Maltese boy is fostering in the northeast.

Bubbles is a darling two year old, ten pound Pekingese girl. This black and white little cutie pie is quiet and timid at first, but learns to trust over time. She is learning how to play with toys and has mastered her house training, but walking on a leash is still very scary for her. She likes to be near her person, preferably a woman, but is not all that crazy yet about being on laps or furniture. She may only be two years old but she has the soul of a more mature girl. Bubbles needs a home with another dog the same age and size to help her learn how to play and develop her self confidence. This precious little Peke princess is fostering in NH but can travel to her new home.

Sunni is a 4 yr. old Shih Tzu girl who weighs 17 lbs. This beautiful pup came into our rescue after being hit by a car.  She has no use of her left front leg, but that doesn't slow her down!  She gets around very well and can even sit up and beg for a treat!  Sunni is a laid-back, sweet, lovable, quiet girl who likes to sleep in the big bed at night and snuggle next to her person during the day.  She loves belly rubs and being talked to.  She is housetrained and is good with gentle kids, dogs and cats.  She will melt your heart with her big beautiful eyes and her big wagging tail!  Sunni the Shih Tzu is fostering in northwest Florida.

Chipper the Shih Tzu is an adorable 4 year-old boy who is tan/gold/beige with a white collar. He has recently started playing with the foster puppy in his household, but has not been exposed to cats.
