Meet Shi Shi.....a perfect little Shih Tzu puppy. Shi Shi is a happy, delightfully sweet 18 month old doll. Her silky fur is puppy soft, powdered sugar white w/ gray on mask, ears, a little gray on saddle of one side and near tail.  Shi Shi has beautiful, large brown eyes, an endearing trait of this wonderful breed. This precious puppy loves to go for walks, likes car rides, and running in the yard. Shi Shi loves meeting people and her little tail is always wagging.  She is good with adults, children, dogs of all sizes, and is VERY fond of the resident cat! If Kitty is on the bed, Shi Shi will talk and sing until she can be near her! Because of her fondless for cats, if Shi Shi is to live with a cat it must be a dog-friendly one. Shi Shi likes to held for love and kisses and is a big time snuggler once she bonds to a human.... Sid the Shih Tzu is a gorgeous 14-pound, 4 year-old boy who is gray with a white collar, is house trained when taken out on a schedule, walks on a leash, and loves everyone, from children to adults. Sid gets along great with the other dogs in his household, but doesn't do well with large dogs who are alpha in personality – he gets along fine with the happy-go-lucky lab in his foster mom's house, and is fine with all little dogs. Jenny is a 2 year-old Shih Tzu/Terrier mix who weighs 10 lbs and is as cute as a button! Jenny is wonderful with other dogs, is fine with cats (loves to play with them if they'll agree to it), loves the two boys in her foster home (ages 10 and 11), is doing very, very well with her housetraining (will have an accident by the door if she isn't let out quickly), and is learning to walk on a leash. Jenny the Shih Tzu/Terrier mix is very playful and has a ball playing with her toys, fetching and playing ball, but her favorite activity is to curl into a ball and snuggle in her foster mom's lap. Jenny came to rescue as a stray; she was left on the side of a road and was found on a 20 degree day and rescued by none other than FedEx! Mango the long haired Chihuahua is a 4 year old, six pound adorable little prince who loves to have his tummy rubbed. Mango is very good on the leash but when his little legs get tired, he is more than happy to be carried in a bag. He is the perfect companion for tagging along on shopping trips in your shoulder bag but he is also content to snuggle up on the sofa and catch up on his beauty sleep. He must have slept a lot because he is SO beautiful! His coat is very soft, he has lovely hazel eyes, and a fluffy tail to die for. Mango the Chihuahua is mostly housebroken but uses puppy pads in inclement weather. He has a mild pancreatic condition which is under control with special dog food. Silky is a Cairn Terrier/Shih Tzu mix who is approximately four years old and 16 pounds. She came to rescue when her family realized that living a life tied to a tree wasn't the best. She is fully housetrained, when taken out on schedule. This sweet little girl has her special places in the house and when she's in her special bed, she doesn't want any other dogs to invade her territory. Gigi is a sweet 8 year old, 10 lb. female Shih Tzu. This precious black and white girl was surrendered to a kill shelter with serious eye injuries, and has lost vision in both eyes. Gigi is in an experienced foster home, where she is adjusting very well to her blindness. Her foster mom says: "Gigi likes to go outside and just walk around. If she feels insecure she will bark, and when she hears her my voice she stops barking and goes back to exploring. We are working on her coming to me when she hears me, but she is very independent and really doesn't want to come inside! I've been trying to boost her sense of smell also - sometimes I don't say anything when she barks, I walk over to her and put my leg or hand near her. Introducing Brenda the adorable Yorkie mix with personality bigger than her size! Brenda is six months old and weighs 10 lbs. This darling Yorkie mix will be the perfect terrier pup for a child who likes adventure and love. Brenda has learned to potty outside, with only the rare occasional accident. She loves to play the game of fetch. Brenda the Yorkie mix walks on a leash and loves to romp in the fenced yard in her foster home, playing nicely with the other dogs, but has not been exposed to cats.... Click to Continue...

Cassie is a red and white, 7 yr. old, female Lhasa Apso, who is as sweet as can be. Cassie was given up when her family could no longer care for her. She is shy until she gets to know you. This dear Lhasa girl loves to be held and have her tummy rubbed. She is good at walking on a leash and loves to go for walks, to explore and smell new and different things. She is in very good health, just had her teeth cleaned, and is housetrained!! One of Cassie's favorite foods is frozen green peas - she eats them like potato chips! Rusty is a beautiful little reddish brown Pomeranian boy. He is approximately 4 years old, and weighs 5-6 lbs. Rusty was found walking down the middle of the street in the dead of winter. Cindy is a sweet 7 year old black and white Shih Tzu. She's a petite 11 lbs, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Cindy would do best as an only pup. She is very focused on her people, and would do best with someone who is home most of the time. Although she walks well on a leash, strange dogs frighten her, so a home with a fenced yard would be perfect.. This adorable little Shih Tzu loves to be by your side and is relaxed riding in the car. Petie, a beautiful blonde-brindle, 12 lb. Nonnie the precious Pekingese is approximately 7 years old and is a beautiful buff brown color with black tipped ears. She cannot see out of one eye but this is of no consequence to Nonnie.
