Jimmy - Male Yorkie Puppy adopted

Jimmy is an adorable 9 month old Yorkshire Terrier puppy. He is a solid little boy, at 11 pounds. Jimmy is very sweet and easy-going, he even let me cut his nails, his hair, and give him a bath the first day he was here. He loves playing with other dogs. He's quite lively and likes chew sticks and squeaky toys. He's happiest when everyone else is chasing him to get his special toy/treat. Jimmy is getting pretty good at not pottying in the house, but he does use piddle pads as well as going outside. He likes to go in and out the doggie door to play in the yard, and loves to roll around in stinky stuff. He likes to go for walks and has been good for 20-minute car rides. Jimmy is a bit of a barker - his worst is barking at himself in the sliding glass door! We have to close the blinds at night.

He's learned how to "sit". He sleeps in bed with us all at night. Jimmy definitely wants to go home with another dog or two. He prefers dogs to people; they're more fun. He could go to a family with gentle older children; he is very nice to everyone. This adorable little Yorkie started life in a puppy mill, and arrived in rescue extremely underweight, and was treated for pneumonia and collapsing trachea. He is now healthy, and the trachea does not affect him much at all - he runs and plays and only seldom coughs or reverse sneezes. Jimmy the Yorkie puppy is fostering in New Jersey.
