Gizmo - Male Shih Tzu
Gizmo is a happy-go-lucky, four year old, male Shih Tzu. This darling little Tzu boy is a bit overweight at 17lbs, and as playful as a a puppy. Gizmo was saved from a life of misery and confinement by an alert groomer who just couldn't let his terrible condition go unreported. When he was brought in for grooming, he was horribly matted and had urine burns on his feet. His human confessed that she keep him in his crate 90% of the day. Fortunately she agreed to turn him over to the Humane Officer, and Gizzy's new life started. He has blossomed in his foster home, and has a very affectionate, happy personality. He loves people and gets along great with dogs and cats, too. He totally enjoys life, playing games of fetch with his squeaky toys and stuffed animals, eating, and cuddling. He likes to ride in the car, walks well on a leash, and sleeps in the big bed, curled up close to his person. Gizmo is housetrained, if taken out on schedule, and is waiting for a forever family of his own. He is fostering in West Virginia, and can travel to his new home.
