Meet Corky Man, a 5 year old, 14 pound, Cairn Terrier sweetheart. This brindle boy came into rescue from life as a breeding Cairn. Corky has made fast progress since gaining his freedom. He's almost perfected his house training and does fine with meals. Corky does very well on the leash but is equally fond of naps on the couch. He gets along fine with his foster fur-brothers but prefers female adults over men. Corky is a sweet Cairn boy who attaches strongly to one person - and shows his affection with lots of kisses! He is also very protective of his family and bones and can be somewhat fearful of strangers. Once he knows you, Corky loves to cuddle and snuggle, giving kisses in thanks for your scratches. He's not a barker, but does make adorable "mumbly" sounds when he's happy. Corky would do best in a low-key, adult household with a stay at home female parent who doesn't mind sharing her bed and desires a loyal best friend.
