SUCCESS as described in Webster's Dictionary is a noun that means:

1. A good or favorable outcome; desired results.

2. A person or thing that has achieved success

We consider "SUCCESS" to be a verb, an action, a loving deed, for each rescued pup is immediately fostered by a loving volunteer family. During this foster process, each pup is evaluated for temperament, medical needs, social needs or any special needs that might be noted. They are mainstreamed into the family as an integral part of their lifestyle. In most rescue situations, trust is a missing link in the pups life and with the love and compassion they receive in a foster home, the pup learns that humans can be trusted again and then offer their unconditional love.

When an application for an adoption is received, SUCCESS is once again put into action. The references are checked, a home visit is made to insure the safety of the animal and then our Director makes the determination of proper placement for the animal and potential owner. When all of these issues are addressed, the transportation coordinators become a part of the SUCCESS story. The pup is safely transported from its foster home to the "Forever Family" where SUCCESS once again becomes a noun.
